Financial Planner – Wealth & Insurance Advisory

About the role

The Financial Planner will join FNB Namibia’s wealth and insurance advisory team, operating from branch locations in the Southern region (Keetmanshoop and Mariental). The role focuses on building sustainable client relationships, providing tailored insurance and investment solutions, and driving profitable growth within a banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and insurance providers to identify optimal cover and promote relevant products.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with bankers, relationship managers and branch teams.
• Generate new business opportunities through daily client interactions and internal referrals.
• Build and sustain a strong pipeline of wealth and insurance prospects.
• Cross‑sell insurance, investment and banking solutions to existing and prospective clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in financial planning, insurance or wealth management.
• Proven ability to build and manage a client portfolio.
• Relationship‑driven, commercially minded and entrepreneurial.
• NAMFISA compliant or working towards compliance.
• Grade 12 qualification with relevant diploma and life‑insurance certification.
• Valid driver’s licence.
