Financial Planner

About the role

FNB Namibia is expanding its wealth and insurance advisory footprint and is looking for experienced Financial Planners to build sustainable, high‑earning advisory practices within a banking environment. The role is entrepreneurial, performance‑driven and offers uncapped earnings through new business generation and recurring income streams.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and insurance companies to secure the best insurance cover and actively promote products.
• Operate from bank branches in the allocated region and build trusted relationships with bankers, relationship managers and branch teams.
• Position yourself as the go‑to wealth and insurance specialist and convert opportunities into long‑term client relationships.
• Leverage daily client interactions and branch activity to generate new business opportunities and sustain a strong pipeline through internal networking and referrals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in financial planning, insurance or wealth management.
• Proven ability to build and manage a client portfolio.
• Relationship‑driven, commercially minded and entrepreneurial mindset.
• NAMFISA compliant (or working towards compliance) and hold a relevant life‑insurance certification.
• Grade 12 qualification with a relevant diploma and a valid driver’s licence.
• Comfortable operating in a performance‑based environment and able to generate business without allocated leads.
