Field Technical Internships

About the role

SLB offers hands‑on internship opportunities in field engineering, specialist support and technical maintenance. Interns will gain practical exposure to oilfield operations, equipment deployment, data acquisition and HSE practices while working alongside experienced engineers and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineers and technicians with operational activities, equipment preparation and tool deployment on site.
• Collect, monitor and perform basic analysis of field data, ensuring compliance with company quality and HSE standards.
• Support the assembly, testing, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment in workshops or field bases.
• Document job activities, prepare reports and participate in post‑job reviews and safety briefings.

Required profile

• Minimum a degree or diploma in engineering, electronics, mechanical, electrical or mechatronics; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment, learn quickly and adapt to new problems.
• Strong team player with good verbal and written English communication skills.
