Clerk Creditors

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Clerk Creditors to manage creditor documentation, invoice processing and payments within our finance team. The role ensures timely repayment of debts while maintaining accurate records and supporting creditor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and organise documents received from creditors.
• Accurately capture invoices in the accounting system to ensure timely payments.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain a logical filing system.
• Respond to creditor queries promptly and professionally.
• Generate monthly payments via EFT or cheque.

Required profile

• Grade 12; an accounting diploma or certificate is an advantage.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar creditor or accounts payable role.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
• Computer literate with strong Excel knowledge.
• Sound financial and accounting skills, high accuracy and ability to work under pressure.
• Honest, reliable, trustworthy with good interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Valid police clearance and Namibian citizenship (ID or passport copy required).
• References from previous employers.
