Branch Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead a large team of advisors, drive sales performance and nurture client relationships across our financial products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and implement the local action plan aligned with the organisation’s strategy and vision.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for existing accounts, gathering feedback and recommending improvements.
• Identify and sell appropriate financial products, presenting configurations and terms to customers.
• Generate new sales opportunities through referrals, trade shows and targeted prospecting.
• Set performance objectives for the team, monitor results and take corrective actions as needed.
• Supervise operational processes, ensure budgeting compliance and report variances.
• Act as the customer champion in cross‑functional teams, handling queries and escalating complex issues.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing large advisory teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on consultative selling.
