Branch Controller – Omuthiya

About the role

The Branch Controller will lead the Omuthiya branch in delivering world‑class service, overseeing teller, enquiries and sales support teams while ensuring operational risk is managed and service levels are maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop teller, enquiries and sales support staff to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Act as ATM and Treasury custodian, ensuring required ATM uptime and managing treasury movements.
• Oversee BROTA management and perform a range of administrative duties.
• Process and balance teller cash, treasury, and bank stock holdings; conduct month‑end reconciliations and daily suspense account balancing.
• Administer card stock enquiries and authorize all teller, enquiries and sales support transactions.
• Prepare daily branch control reports and manage customer account records and archives.
• Control branch expenses, wardrobe management and resolve customer complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with strong managerial, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent administrative and problem‑solving skills; able to work under pressure and manage conflicts.
• Highly organized, detail‑focused and professional with a solid knowledge of banking products and systems.
• Diploma in Business or Banking studies and at least five years of banking experience, particularly in branch administration.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and be on standby for ATM uptime.
