ICT Application Support Analyst

About the role

The ICT Application Support Analyst will provide 2nd‑tier technical support for Nedbank's banking systems and related IT applications. The role ensures incidents are resolved efficiently while maintaining regulatory compliance and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate IT incident resolution processes, prioritising based on business impact and urgency.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, monitoring performance against SLAs.
• Provide 2nd‑tier technical support and system debugging for end‑users.
• Liaise with business and technical stakeholders, communicating incident status and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and internal frameworks.
• Support continuous service‑improvement initiatives and build positive business relationships.

Required profile

• Advanced Diploma, National 1st Degree or equivalent (NQF Level 6).
• 3–5 years of end‑user support experience, preferably in application support.
• Experience with Flexcube and Microsoft environments is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as MCDST, COBIT or other vendor certifications.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and basic computer concepts.
