Exhibitions & Promotions Coordinator (Windhoek)

About the role

The Namibia Tourism Board seeks an Exhibitions & Promotions Coordinator to plan, coordinate and execute domestic and international events, trade fairs and exhibitions that showcase Namibia as a preferred travel destination.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate NTB’s participation in local and international trade fairs, expos and events, including booth design, branding, logistics and on‑site management.
• Engage with stakeholders, sponsors, vendors and government agencies to ensure seamless event logistics and partnership development.
• Manage travel, accommodation and shipment logistics for staff, delegates and event materials, and maintain inventory of promotional assets.
• Create and distribute marketing collateral, capture event content, run social‑media campaigns and support post‑event promotion.
• Prepare event reports, track budgets, maintain records and support internal NTB events as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Event Management, Marketing, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, branding, tourism promotion or media coordination, preferably with digital marketing and CRM exposure.
• Strong knowledge of the Namibian tourism industry.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when required.
• Full, current driver’s licence for a car.
