About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Commissioned Financial Advisor to deliver high‑quality service to customers while driving new business and supporting client retention across Namibia. The role involves handling complex queries, analysing problems, and building strong relationships with decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality service, process cases and resolve complex customer issues.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support client retention.
• Analyse problems to propose technical or professional solutions.
• Receive visitors, manage information requests and refer complex matters.
• Schedule follow‑up actions, update the CRM system and create call plans.
• Set clear objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations and gather customer insights.
• Develop and implement relationship‑management plans for key accounts.
• Monitor sales and market data to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Old Mutual at sector events, gather market intelligence and enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with commercial or business‑related subjects.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an insurance intermediary or in financial services.
• Clear criminal and credit check.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional image.
• Strong planning, organising and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive and passionate about sales.
