BIM Modeler – Mechanical & Electrical

About the role

Windhoek Consulting Engineers is looking for an intermediate BIM Modeler specializing in Mechanical and Electrical services. You will develop, coordinate, and manage 3D BIM models for a range of building and infrastructure projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for mechanical and electrical building services using Revit.
• Assist with multidisciplinary BIM coordination, clash detection, and model integration.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with internal and external teams.
• Produce construction drawings, layouts, schedules, and model‑based documentation.
• Create and maintain Revit families and BIM content libraries.
• Support BIM standards, templates, and workflow implementation.
• Coordinate models with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Plant 3D where required for drafting support.

Required profile

• Draughting or relevant technical qualification.
• BIM or Autodesk/Revit certification.
• 2–3 years of BIM modelling experience in a consulting engineering environment.
• Good communication, coordination skills and a valid driver’s licence.
