About the role
We are seeking detail‑oriented Video Annotators to enrich a Vision‑Language‑Action dataset. You will watch short video clips of physical tasks, break them into logical steps and write clear, concise natural‑language instructions for each segment.
Key responsibilities
- View each assigned video in its entirety to grasp overall context before annotating.
- Segment videos into discrete steps based on visible action boundaries and assign accurate start/end timestamps.
- Write grammatically correct, action‑oriented descriptions for every segment, maintaining consistent tense and tone.
- Follow provided annotation guidelines, taxonomies and style guides.
- Flag unclear, corrupted or mislabeled videos for review.
- Participate in calibration sessions and incorporate QA feedback.
- Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality targets while ensuring data confidentiality.
Required profile
- English proficiency at C1 level (CEFR) with strong grammar and vocabulary.
- Excellent attention to visual detail and ability to describe actions precisely.
- Comfort using web‑based video annotation tools; reliable internet and modern browser.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently following detailed guidelines.
Required skills
- Experience with annotation platforms such as CVAT, Label Studio or Scale (training provided).
- Basic computer literacy (file handling, spreadsheets, web tools).
