About the role
Zutari is seeking a Project Financial Accountant to manage full‑cycle transaction processing for its engineering projects. The role supports the Finance Team, local office and operational teams by handling billing, debtors, creditors, journal entries, provisions, accruals and ad‑hoc financial tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit tax filings (VAT, WHT, PAYE) and reconcile them with the General Ledger.
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts, ensuring reconciling items are cleared within three months.
- Process AP invoices, coding them to the appropriate project, phase and task accounts.
- Perform monthly journal entries, bank and petty‑cash reconciliations, and cash‑flow forecasting.
- Support payroll functions, including timesheet processing, cash‑advance claims and expense reimbursements.
- Collect and analyse information from Country Managers to determine cash requirements for up to 12 months.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all reconciliations and adjustments.
