Call Centre Agent (Temporary)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a temporary Call Centre Agent to deliver a positive customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for clients, providing product information, processing orders and resolving issues while adhering to quality and procedural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced product and service information to customers.
• Record and process customer orders, selecting the most appropriate approach.
• Handle basic and advanced customer issues, including returns, exchanges and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Make outbound calls to potential customers to develop relationships and prospect new business.
• Enter accurate data into the CRM system after each interaction.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements.
• Support renewals by delivering exceptional service to encourage continued use of products.
• Follow organisational policies, regulatory codes and mandatory procedures.
• Participate in training and coaching to maintain and improve technical skills.
