Telesales Administrator

About the role

The Telesales Administrator is responsible for reaching out to potential and existing customers, capturing sales orders and ensuring they meet agreed telesales standards and service levels. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to present products over the phone and handle complaints or doubts professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales objectives against agreed standards.
• Accurately capture and administer sales orders in a timely manner.
• Check, process and verify EDI orders.
• Verify pricing, deals and block orders when necessary.
• Answer product and company related questions.
• Direct prospects to the field sales team when appropriate.
• Confirm and rectify any discrepancies on pickings.
• Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota.
• Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in office administration or telesales environment.
• Sales exposure in the FMCG sector is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cool‑tempered and able to handle rejection.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
