Call Centre Agent (OMAO)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Call Centre Agent to join Old Mutual’s customer service team. The role involves handling inbound calls, providing product information, processing orders and resolving customer issues while delivering a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced product and service information to callers.
• Record and process customer orders, selecting the appropriate approach.
• Respond to basic and advanced issues such as returns, exchanges, complaints and escalations.
• Make outbound calls to potential customers, develop relationships and prospect for new business.
• Enter accurate data into the CRM system after each contact.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements.
• Support renewals by delivering exceptional service.
• Follow organisational policies, regulatory codes and mandatory procedures.
• Participate in training and coaching to maintain and improve technical skills.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Minimum Grade 12 qualification with at least 25 points; tertiary qualification is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Computer literate with strong client‑care orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
• Knowledge of Old Mutual products.
• Ability to work under pressure while remaining professional.
