Commissioned Financial Advisor (OMAO)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Commissioned Financial Advisor (OMAO) to help individuals, corporates and institutions achieve their financial objectives. The role focuses on delivering tailored financial solutions while building and maintaining high‑net‑worth client relationships across Namibia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and product recommendations in line with Old Mutual’s value proposition and compliance framework.
• Develop, track and review a personal business plan to meet performance targets.
• Prospect and acquire new clients within allocated markets while retaining existing business.
• Manage client portfolios, ensuring appropriate product holdings across Old Mutual solutions.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service, resolve complex queries, and process cases efficiently.
• Analyze client needs, prepare tailored presentations, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship with a valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
• Grade 12 with at least 23 points in commerce OR a NQF Level 7 degree in business/commercial fields.
• Minimum three years of experience in business management, insurance, or financial services.
• Ability to leverage existing high‑net‑worth networks and present solutions effectively.
• Above‑average numerical ability and professional appearance.
• Recent police clearance certificate (not older than three months).

• Computer literacy and proficiency with CRM systems.
