Workshop Manager – Automotive Fitment Centre

About the role

Canopy Centre, a leading automotive fitment centre in Namibia, is seeking a full‑time Workshop Manager to lead its Windhoek workshop. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, high safety standards, and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate workshop activities and staff.
• Maintain inventory levels and oversee parts ordering.
• Manage budgets, control costs and ensure financial targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and safety standards.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to facilitate efficient workflows.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and dealership partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in workshop management or mechanical operations.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities with a track record of motivating teams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
• Ability to solve problems and work effectively under pressure.
• Valid driver’s licence; automotive or fitment industry experience is a plus.
