Wheel Alignment Technician / Tyre Fitter (Swakopmund)

About the role

The Wheel Alignment Technician / Tyre Fitter ensures vehicles leave the workshop safely aligned and equipped with correctly fitted tyres. Working on‑site at the Swakopmund service centre, you will follow manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and remove tyres, mount new tyres on rims, clean and paint rims as required.
• Inflate tyres and perform pressure and torque checks according to manufacturer standards.
• Inspect vehicles for alignment issues, operate alignment machines, and adjust caster, camber, toe‑in and toe‑out settings.
• Communicate alignment findings to customers and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure tools and equipment are stored correctly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment.
