Systems Analyst

About the role

FNB is seeking a Systems Analyst to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications. You will work within a collaborative talent team, supporting the delivery of high‑quality system solutions that align with the company’s standards and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and document technical specifications based on defined business requirements.
• Review and continuously improve testing processes, running tests according to specifications.
• Identify queries and issues, escalating them to developers and testers for resolution.
• Collaborate with the Database Administrator on table design and data architecture.
• Ensure all work adheres to predefined standards, compliance, and governance policies.
• Analyse business specifications to determine appropriate technical solutions and recommend process optimisations.
• Support migration opportunities and the use of technology to improve processes.
• Maintain accurate administration, reporting, and information updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in systems analysis or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of business and systems requirements analysis.
• Experience with the full system delivery lifecycle (SDLC) and system testing.
• Ability to engage cross‑functional stakeholders and contribute to cost‑efficient solutions.
