Strategy Analyst

About the role

The Strategy Analyst will support Old Mutual Namibia in shaping and executing its business strategy. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and monitor performance against targets.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret strategic needs and provide data‑driven solutions by analysing business performance, market trends and competitive dynamics.
• Develop and maintain annual business plans, budgets, targets and key activities aligned with the organisation’s strategy.
• Manage and support the implementation of strategic planning initiatives across the business unit.
• Deliver small to medium‑scale projects in line with approved project plans and organisational objectives.
• Conduct research, analyse data and identify trends, insights and opportunities to inform decision‑making.
• Support stakeholder engagement by identifying needs, addressing concerns and preparing communication materials.
• Provide expert guidance on policies and procedures, resolve complex issues and support informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Strategic Management, Statistics or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy, business analysis, corporate planning or management consulting.
• Strong numerical aptitude, ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management, oral communication and strategic selling abilities.
