Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Core Group, the leading Apple distributor in Sub‑Saharan Africa, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth of Apple and other Core Group brands in Namibia. You will lead the consumer electronics business, ensuring operational efficiency, sales expansion, and high customer satisfaction across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create and expand reseller, carrier, and B2B (education) channels.
• Collaborate with Carrier BDM, B2B BDM, and Head of Distribution to achieve collective goals.
• Ensure full Apple product range availability across all channels.
• Manage partner relationships to maximise quarterly sales and profitability.
• Identify key accounts per country, develop and execute account plans.
• Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets by line of business.
• Contribute to budget planning and monitor performance against budget.
• Develop business plans for each partner and oversee debtor management.
• Grow B2B/B2E customer base and support reseller network.
• Plan and execute in‑store events and uphold top‑tier customer experience standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related field (Post‑graduate qualification in Business Management or Sales is a plus).
• 5–7 years of business development or sales management experience across multiple markets.
• Proven people‑management experience with direct reports.
• Demonstrated success in Apple or technology distribution.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive multi‑market growth strategies.
