Sales Representative – Commodity Food Products

About the role

Deep Catch Trading is looking for a driven Sales Representative to expand its commodity food product portfolio across Namibia. You will be the face of the company, building relationships, promoting products and delivering revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Market, promote, trade and sell commodity food products distributed by Deep Catch Group.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while providing excellent service.
• Travel nationally to service existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product promotions and ensure accurate sales documentation.
• Liaise with operational buying teams to guarantee optimal stock availability.
• Analyze daily sales reports, stock levels, expiry dates, revenue and customer trends.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and report safety or environmental concerns.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Computer literacy.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
• Sales or marketing qualification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the butchery, hot‑pot, retail or trading industry is beneficial.
