Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications. This fully remote contract position involves turning design mockups into responsive, secure web experiences while collaborating with designers and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS solutions (WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Magento).
• Develop custom themes, modules, and plugins from scratch.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and optimise performance.
• Configure custom post types, fields, and editing interfaces for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, backups, updates, and user authentication.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders.
• Document code and technical decisions for future maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development focused on CMS platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design detail.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server‑side languages: PHP, Python, Ruby.
• Deep experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• API integration and database management.
• Technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
