Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Project Quantity Surveyor will act as the commercial hub of the site office, overseeing all financial and contractual aspects of construction projects at the site level. The role focuses on protecting project value, ensuring cash‑flow efficiency, and delivering accurate measurement and payment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer comprehensive financial and contractual documentation for site‑based construction projects.
• Maximise project value and cash flow through precise measurement, rigorous sub‑contractor management, and timely submission of interim payment certificates.
• Monitor the "Actual vs. Allowable" budget using CCS (Candy) and Buildsmart tools.
• Secure payment for all variations and ensure sub‑contractor liabilities are correctly recorded.
• Maintain a detailed audit trail of measurements and records to satisfy internal leadership and external stakeholder requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site‑level quantity surveying or construction financial administration.
• Strong understanding of measurement techniques, sub‑contractor coordination, and variation management.
• Ability to produce and manage interim payment certificates accurately and on schedule.
• Attention to detail in maintaining audit‑ready documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCS (Candy) software.
• Proficiency with Buildsmart software.
