OTR Tyre Serviceman / Operator – Rosh Pinah, Namibia

About the role

The Tyre Serviceman/Operator will fit, remove and service tyres and wheels for a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting client operations.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with Quality Tyres Namibia and Bridgestone policies and client instructions.
• Fit and remove wheels from any type of vehicle and mount/strip tyre‑rim assemblies following procedures.
• Perform tyre and tube repairs, clean, paint and crack‑test rim components.
• Operate forklifts and tyre handlers safely and conduct equipment checks and calibrations.
• Maintain tyre operating pressures and record all tyre changes accurately.

Required profile

• Valid Namibia Code B or BE light vehicle driver’s licence.
• Grade 12 National Certificate.
• Two years experience in OTR tyre fitting (preferred).
• Ability to work under supervision, show initiative and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Tyre handling and wheel fitting/removal.
• Tyre mounting, stripping and repair.
• Equipment checks, calibrations and pressure maintenance.
• Rim cleaning, painting and crack testing.
• Possession of Red/Pit Permit, Tyre Handler licence and Forklift licence.
