OTR Tyre Repair Technician – Rosh Pinah, Namibia

About the role

The Tyre Repair Technician will work on‑site at Bridgestone’s Rosh Pinah location, performing off‑the‑road (OTR) tyre repairs and related services. The role involves following strict quality and safety procedures while delivering high‑quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and remove wheels, mount and strip tyre‑rim assemblies, and perform specialised OTR tyre repairs.
• Conduct equipment checks, calibrations, and routine inspections of wheel components.
• Operate forklifts and tyre handlers safely according to procedures.
• Record tyre changes and other information accurately and forward as required.
• Maintain tyre operating pressures and ensure compliance with client and company policies.

Required profile

• Valid Namibia Code B or BE light‑vehicle driver’s licence.
• Grade 12 National Certificate.
• Preferred: at least two years of OTR tyre repair experience.
• Reports to the Site Supervisor.

Required skills

• OTR tyre repair techniques.
• Forklift operation.
• Tyre handling and use of tyre‑handler licence.
• Red/Pit permit handling.
• Level 2 Tyre Fitting and Removal certification.
