Mobile Sales Agent (Fixed-term)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Mobile Sales Agent to serve clients in Grootfontein and surrounding areas. You will be the face of the company, building strong relationships, delivering exceptional service, and promoting a wide range of financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships by understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Promote cross‑selling opportunities across the organisation’s financial product portfolio.
• Achieve performance targets through proactive sales and client retention activities.
• Monitor market trends and adapt strategies to changing business needs.
• Travel extensively within Grootfontein and nearby regions to meet clients.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with commercial or business subjects (minimum 25 points); tertiary qualification is an advantage.
• Code B driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
• At least three years of experience in lending, insurance, financial services or a related sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in local vernacular languages is a plus.
• Demonstrated computer literacy, numerical and analytical ability.
• Ability to work extended trading hours and collaborate effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
