Key Account Officer

About the role

The Key Account Officer will manage and grow relationships with strategic clients while delivering tailored training and capacity‑building programmes to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned key clients, building long‑term trusted relationships and ensuring retention.
• Design, plan and deliver training sessions, workshops and digital resources for clients and internal staff, assessing skill gaps and measuring training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and product teams to align account management with learning initiatives and provide regular performance reports.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities, collect client feedback and recommend service improvements.

Required profile

• Grade 12 minimum; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, HR or a related field is an advantage.
• 3‑5 years experience in key account management within financial services and 3‑5 years in training facilitation or capacity building.
• Strong relationship‑building, communication and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑centric mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with e‑learning platforms.
