About the role

The Home Loans Lending Head will lead and expand the mortgage lending portfolio, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability and exemplary customer experience across the home financing value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the Home Loans portfolio, aligning with overall Retail Banking and Group strategy.
• Drive portfolio growth through customer acquisition, retention and increased market penetration.
• Optimize profitability by managing pricing, lending strategies, risk‑adjusted returns and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and strengthen governance frameworks.
• Lead initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and digital adoption.
• Champion innovation in home financing solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships and stakeholder relationships that support growth.
• Develop, retain and succession‑plan key talent within the Home Loans business.
• Deliver strategic projects that contribute to long‑term sustainable growth and prudent risk management.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in mortgage or home‑loans banking.
• Deep understanding of risk management, compliance and governance in a banking environment.
• Track record of driving portfolio growth and profitability.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering innovation.
