German‑Speaking Customer Service Agent – Remote (Namibia)

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Customer Service Agent to join our global engineering and technology company on a 6‑month remote assignment from Namibia. You will be the main point of contact for our international customers, ensuring smooth order processing, timely communication, and high‑quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and process new orders based on customer purchase orders.
• Create order confirmations and release shipments according to stock availability.
• Handle product returns, issue credit notes and follow up on overdue or duplicate payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries about pricing, lead times and tracking numbers.
• Manage inbound and outbound deliveries and support internal stock transfers between warehouses.
• Maintain customer master data in the ERP system and assist the procurement team with demand planning.

Required profile

• Commercial degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in customer service and/or logistics.
• Proactive, precise and service‑oriented work style.
• Strong organizational talent with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• High degree of independence and commitment.
• Fluent in German and English (C2 level, CEFR).
