General Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive General Assistant to join our retail team and help deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will be at the heart of daily store operations, ensuring a clean environment, well‑stocked shelves, and satisfied customers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers professionally, exceeding their expectations.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with OHASA regulations, keeping the store clean, organized, and safe.
• Receive, unpack, and organize stock deliveries; ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are attractively displayed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, build positive workplace relationships, and take initiative in personal and professional growth.

Required profile

• Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a general worker or similar role.
• Resilient, reliable, and aligned with company values.
• Basic understanding of OHASA legislation and retail customer‑service practices.
