Fiduciary Specialist

About the role
The Fiduciary Specialist will join FNB’s Fiduciary team to manage and grow complex fiduciary portfolios. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Wealth Managers and other stakeholders to deliver estate planning solutions and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret trust deeds, wills, contracts and related legal instruments to provide tailored estate plans.
- Develop, market and sell estate plans, aligning recommendations with client interests and needs.
- Source and grow client relationships through collaboration with Relationship and Wealth Managers.
- Identify new business opportunities, including general power of estate and offshore fiduciary referrals.
- Provide training and presentations to internal business units to raise awareness of fiduciary offerings.
- Manage end‑to‑end fiduciary processes, ensuring all legality checks are completed per company policy.
- Drive revenue growth by increasing new trust registrations, amendments and corporate trustee services.
- Administer deceased estates and trust administration processes accurately and efficiently.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BComm LLB, LLB, BComm Accounting with Law subjects, Advanced Diploma in Estate and Trust Administration).
- 3‑5 years of experience in fiduciary services, estate administration, banking, client service or sales support.
- Admission as a Legal Practitioner or enrollment with a recognized legal body (preferred).
