Executive Housekeeper – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads all housekeeping and laundry operations at Thitaka River Lodge, a luxury property within the Newmark Hotels & Resorts portfolio. You will ensure impeccable cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across guest rooms, public areas, staff accommodation, and back‑of‑house facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping and laundry activities, maintaining luxury‑level standards.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and monitor inventory.
• Implement cost‑efficiency measures while preserving service quality.
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of housekeeping staff.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing housekeeping and laundry operations in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and budgeting skills.
