EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The expert will facilitate policy dialogue, institutional cooperation and programme governance between European and African space stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support policy dialogue between EU and African Union institutions.
• Assist in the design and implementation of steering mechanisms and governance structures for the partnership programme.
• Provide advisory input on EU space policy and African space governance architecture, including the African Space Agency and Regional Economic Communities.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange, innovation initiatives and private‑sector engagement across the partnership.
• Prepare briefing notes, reports and strategic recommendations for senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy or institutional advisory work.
• At least 4 years of experience working on EU and/or African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EU space policy and African space governance structures.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
