About the role
The Document Administrator will support Old Mutual’s office operations by handling a range of clerical and document‑management tasks. This role ensures that paperwork is accurately processed, archived and readily accessible, contributing to efficient service delivery across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls and provide front‑office support.
- Process basic financial transactions and record them accurately.
- Type, word‑process, file and manage ad‑hoc administrative activities.
- Collect, sort and distribute computer print‑outs to relevant departments.
- Maintain the office documentation archive, including scanning, boxing and filing of documents.
- Control and update the filing database and perform messenger duties as required.
- Manage own workload and meet deadlines for periods ranging from one day to three months.
Required profile
- Namibian citizenship with a Grade 12 certificate (minimum 25 points).
- At least one year of experience in the insurance industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and deliver high‑quality results.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
