Counter Salesperson – Retail Tire Sales (Oshakati)

About the role

The Counter Salesperson is the front‑line representative of the branch, responsible for delivering excellent customer service while driving tyre and service sales. Working on‑site in Oshakati, you will manage the sales counter, advise customers on product choices, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Sell a full range of quality tyres and related services (e.g., wheel alignment, balancing) at a profit.
• Provide product advice, prepare quotes, and obtain approvals from the Branch Manager.
• Process invoices, discounts, and payments using the branch computer system.
• Maintain the cash float, handle stock‑out sheets, and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Identify new prospects, distribute promotional material, and conduct regular phone outreach.
• Support fitters by communicating customer requirements and supervising job execution.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and ensure all documentation (PODs, claim cards) is complete and signed.
• Keep the fitting area clean, inspect equipment daily, and ensure all tools are functional.
