Assistant Site Engineer

About the role

Lund Consulting Engineers CC is seeking an Assistant Site Engineer to support the Civil Resident Engineer on an EPC project in Tsumeb, Namibia. The role involves supervising civil works, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Civil Resident Engineer with site supervision and project administration.
• Provide general contract supervision and administration on the EPC project.
• Liaise and communicate with the client, EPC contractor and project managers.
• Monitor construction activities, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Support site inspections, reporting and coordination of engineering matters.

Required profile

• Namibian citizen or holder of a valid work permit.
• National Diploma or BTech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia.
• Minimum five years post‑graduate experience in civil engineering, preferably in contract supervision and administration.
• Responsible, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Innovative, honest, accurate and a strong team player.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Fully proficient in English.
• Valid driver’s licence with own transport.
• Available to commence employment as soon as possible.
