Warehouse Supervisor – Pro Parcel (Walvis Bay)

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily loading and off‑loading operations at the Walvis Bay depot, ensuring efficient handling of freight and compliance with safety standards. Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role coordinates staff, manages claims, and supports reverse logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise loading/off‑loading of freight from line haul trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Debrief delivery drivers after each route and manage claims investigations and administration.
• Oversee reverse logistics processes and staff time management.
• Maintain up‑to‑date floor reports through daily follow‑ups.
• Assist, support, and delegate tasks to load supervisors, forklift drivers, and freight controllers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping standards, and regulations for all staff.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification with at least 23 points.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse/courier experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Namibian citizenship with a recent police clearance (≤3 months) and no criminal record.
• Valid driver’s licence and a forklift licence (minimum 3 t).
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work under pressure.
