Trainee Financial Advisor

About the role

Momentum Metropolitan Namibia is looking for a motivated Trainee Financial Advisor to join its sales team in Windhoek. This permanent position offers the chance to develop a career in financial services while supporting clients in achieving their financial wellness goals.

Key responsibilities

• Engage prospective clients, presenting product features and benefits aligned with their financial needs.
• Conduct affordability analyses and advise on tax and legal implications of recommended products.
• Capture client information accurately in the system and complete all administrative and reporting tasks within set timeframes.
• Achieve production, quality and conversion targets while adhering to compliance and legislative requirements.
• Investigate client queries, provide timely feedback, and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a financial advice role (essential).
• At least 2 years experience in the broader financial services industry (desirable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Certificate of proficiency in Insurance or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant legislative/regulatory exams and licensing, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) registration.
