About the role
Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Trainee Broker Consultant to join its Broker Distribution team in Windhoek. You will support brokers, drive sales growth and help shape market strategies across Namibia.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales, marketing and support plans for brokers.
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships with contracted brokers in the assigned portfolio.
- Analyze product mix trends to ensure profitable portfolio growth.
- Research market trends and devise strategies for sustainable growth.
- Provide product advice and marketing support to brokers.
- Meet annual new‑business targets for the broker distribution business.
Required profile
- Namibian citizenship with a valid driver’s licence.
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification; diploma or degree (NQF level 7) in marketing, sales or finance.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Excellent client‑care orientation, communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, in a team and manage complex information.
- Fluent English and computer literate.
