Technician – Maintenance Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technician to support our maintenance systems and technical processes. The successful candidate will help improve productivity and increase the efficiency of our technical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the continuous improvement of productivity across technical operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot IT hardware components and related equipment.
• Perform software installations and updates on company devices.
• Support networking systems where required.
• Ensure compliance with Incredible Connection and Pepkor Lifestyle policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• COMPTIA A certification (Essentials and Core).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage stress, resolve conflicts and work independently.
• Target‑driven mindset with attention to detail.
• Understanding of Pepkor Lifestyle’s vision, branch structure and relevant processes.

Required skills

• COMPTIA A certification.
• IT hardware repair and maintenance.
• Software installation expertise.
• Networking systems knowledge (advantageous).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
