Technical Service Rep - Windhoek

About the role

The Technical Service Representative will support Bridgestone's branches in Namibia by conducting tyre surveys, scrap tyre analysis, and fit‑ment comparisons. Reporting to the Technical Division Manager, the role ensures that all work follows Quality Tyres Namibia procedures and contributes to the region’s technical service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist branches with customer service and technical support.
• Carry out planned surveys and scrap tyre analyses using the correct tools and paperwork.
• Generate reports on TOOLBOX programs and ensure covering letters meet standards.
• Perform comparison test fit‑ments and report findings to the Technical & Safety Manager.
• Plan work schedules, manage expenses, and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
• Undertake any reasonable verbal or written instructions from supervisors.

Required profile

• Matriculation (or equivalent) and/or relevant tyre industry experience.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and travel as required.
• Physically capable of performing field work.
• Good communication skills and a high level of confidentiality.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (basic office software and data entry).
