Software Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Software Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure software solutions that meet business and technical objectives. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, translating requirements into architecture, and guiding development teams through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate interviews, workshops and requirement‑gathering sessions with stakeholders to capture functional and non‑functional needs.
• Analyse current business and system processes, identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Define end‑to‑end solution architecture, including application components, integrations, data flows and system dependencies.
• Translate requirements into technical designs covering security, scalability, performance and maintainability.
• Evaluate solution options, document architectural decisions, risks and trade‑offs, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Coordinate integration and development sub‑projects, providing direction to developers, analysts and testers.
• Review and approve changes to ensure compliance with security, performance and availability criteria.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test scenarios and test cases.
• Support application support teams with escalated issues and configure application software as needed.

• Familiarity with creating functional designs, prototypes and technical documentation.
