Private Sector Engagement Expert (Non-Key)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase private‑sector involvement in space, geospatial and technology projects.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to identify business opportunities and investment gaps.
• Facilitate matchmaking between companies, entrepreneurs, investors and research institutions.
• Support commercialization pathways and access‑to‑finance initiatives for space‑related ventures.
• Contribute to policy dialogue and institutional partnerships that promote sustainable space ecosystems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, business support and matchmaking.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, preferably with exposure to African markets.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
