Pilot – B1900/B350 Flight Crew

About the role

Westair Aviation is seeking experienced pilots to operate B1900 and B350 aircraft on long‑duration missions, primarily in Africa. The role involves ensuring safe flight operations and passenger comfort while working closely with co‑pilots, cabin crew, and ground staff.

Key responsibilities

• Operate aircraft in compliance with all regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct pre‑flight inspections, review flight plans and weather conditions.
• Communicate with air traffic control and navigate during flights.
• Perform take‑offs, landings, and manage aircraft systems.
• Respond to emergencies and take necessary safety actions.
• Collaborate with co‑pilots, cabin crew, and ground personnel for smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate flight records and meet reporting requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Required profile

• Captains – Non OGP: Valid CPL or ATPL, B1900/B350 type rating, minimum 1,500 total flight hours, 100 multi‑engine hours, 50 PIC hours on type, willing to travel 6‑12 weeks in Africa.
• First Officers – OGP: Valid CPL, B1900/B350 type rating, minimum 500 total flight hours, 250 multi‑engine hours, 10 hours on type, willing to travel 6‑12 weeks in Africa.

Required skills

• CPL or ATPL certification.
• B1900 and B350 type ratings.
• Multi‑engine flight experience.
• Pro Line 21 or Pro Line Fusion endorsement (preferred).
• G1000 endorsement (preferred).
