OTR Tyre Serviceman – Rosh Pinah (Namibia)

About the role

The Tyre Serviceman works on‑site under supervision, delivering high‑quality tyre services to customers and developing practical tyre‑fitting skills. The role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy and customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Fit, remove, mount and strip tyres and rims on all vehicle types following established procedures.
• Perform equipment checks, calibrations and routine maintenance of forklifts, tyre handlers and related tools.
• Repair tyres and tubes, clean, paint and crack‑test rim components, and maintain correct tyre pressures.
• Record tyre changes and related information accurately and forward documentation as required.
• Comply with Quality Tyres Namibia, Bridgestone, and client policies, as well as all safety and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.

Required profile

• Valid Namibia light‑vehicle driver’s licence (Code B or BE).
• Grade 12 National Certificate.
• At least two years of OTR tyre‑fitting experience.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow detailed procedures.

Required skills

• Light‑vehicle driving licence (Namibia Code B/BE).
• OTR tyre fitting and removal.
• Forklift operation.
• Tyre handler licence.
• Red/Pit permit.
• Equipment calibration and checks.
• Tyre mounting, stripping and repair.
• Rim cleaning, painting and crack testing.
• Tyre pressure maintenance.
• Lock‑out/tag‑out safety procedures.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
