OTR Site Supervisor – Rosh Pinah, Namibia

About the role

The OTR Site Supervisor will manage the workshop and office at the Rosh Pinah site, ensuring high‑quality tyre fitting and maintenance services for the client. The role combines hands‑on technical work with staff supervision, stock control and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Quality Tyres Namibia, Bridgestone and client policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Prioritise and direct personnel to perform tyre fitting, workshop maintenance and equipment calibration efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate records – rosters, leave, overtime, tyre and rim data – and submit reports to head office.
• Monitor stock levels, order supplies, verify deliveries and conduct regular inventory audits.
• Perform inspections of components, decide on repair, reuse or scrap, and ensure tyre operating pressures are documented.
• Uphold workshop hygiene, manage equipment maintenance and, when needed, carry out tyre‑fitter tasks.

Required profile

• Grade 12 National Certificate and a valid Namibian light‑vehicle driver’s licence (Code B or BE).
• Five years of Earthmover tyre‑fitting experience and a National Certificate in tyre repair and maintenance.
• Three years of supervisory experience (preferred) and a coaching/mentoring certificate (preferred).
• Good communication, customer‑service skills and the ability to work extended hours physically fit.

Required skills

• Light‑vehicle driver’s licence (Namibian Code B or BE).
• Earthmover tyre fitting expertise.
• Tyre repair and maintenance knowledge.
• Forklift operation licence.
• Red / Pit Permit.
• Tyre Handler licence.
• Drivers Licence Code 8.
