Mechanic I – After Sales (Windhoek)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanic I to join the After‑Sales team at Nors in Windhoek. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality repair and maintenance services for a range of vehicles, ensuring compliance with OEM standards and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fault‑finding, troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance as directed by the Workshop Manager or Foreman.
• Analyse service repairs and determine the appropriate repair approach.
• Carry out mechanical overhauls, major repairs, and component replacements while adhering to OEM procedures.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and vehicle performance.
• Provide breakdown assistance and roadside support across Namibia, travelling to customer sites as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (High School) certificate.
• Level 3 qualification in Diesel Mechanics or Auto Electrical.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on mechanical experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic diagnostics.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Responsible, autonomous, dynamic and organized.
