Marketing & Support Services Manager

About the role

The Manager of Marketing and Support Services will lead the implementation of NTB’s marketing activities across Namibia, align with the national marketing strategy and provide market insights to the Head of Marketing. The role also coordinates day‑to‑day operations at the head office.

Key responsibilities

• Support NTB’s online marketing and advertising strategy across digital channels.
• Oversee the NTB website, ensuring fresh, relevant content is uploaded regularly.
• Produce quarterly e‑newsletters for all NTB offices and their country databases.
• Identify and promote joint marketing and trade opportunities on the corporate website.
• Develop annual work plans for source markets without a foreign office or representative agency.
• Design and manage a B2B destination marketing public‑relations programme.
• Define and nurture key accounts in trade and media segments.
• Compile regular market intelligence reports on consumer and travel‑trade trends.
• Assist in launching domestic tourism strategies and campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing or Business Studies.
• Excellent knowledge of the Namibian tourism industry and SADC tourism products.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Minimum 5 years in a management position, preferably in destination marketing or tourist office management.
• Experience with digital marketing and CRM is preferred.
