Managing Director – Namibia

About the role

The Managing Director for TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia will lead the affiliate’s operations across a vast and complex market. This senior executive position requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of the petroleum industry in Namibia.

Key responsibilities

• Represent TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia with ministries, regulatory authorities, clients, banks, suppliers, embassies and other key stakeholders.
• Provide visible leadership on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), chair the Affiliate HSE Committee and drive safety culture.
• Lead the Affiliate Crisis Management Team and participate in the Emergency Response Team.
• Define and execute growth initiatives, strategic investments and market‑share expansion plans.
• Optimize supply‑chain operations within the constraints of designated supply channels and manage logistics challenges.
• Oversee talent development, succession planning and capability building in a market with scarce critical skills.
• Ensure full compliance with TotalEnergies Group policies, affiliate procedures and local regulations.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑management experience in the petroleum or energy sector, preferably within a regulated market.
• Proven track record of leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills with government, regulators and commercial partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex supply‑chain and logistics environments.
• Commitment to HSE excellence and rigorous compliance management.
